The Great Glen Way runs for 79 miles (127 km) from Inverness to Fort William, where it links-up with the West Highland Way. The picturesque route passes along the banks of the Caledonian Canal, Loch Ness, Loch Oich and Loch Lochy.
The route is clearly sign-posted, with several information boards, sited at key points along the way, providing directions, maps, plus detailed information on the local area and its history. |
