The Tank Museum

military tank The Tank Museum at the Bovington military base has hundreds of tanks and other military vehicles on show - one of the largest collections in the world. A key exhibit is a massive 48 ton Centurion tank, cut in half along its length, exposing its internal secrets. Also on display is the world's first tank built in 1915, plus many WWII veterans including British Churchills, America's Shermans and one of Germany's mighty Tiger Tanks.
