Has been played for over 500 years across Cornwall, today St Ives and St Columb are the only places where the sport still takes place. A team game usually played in February or March. Starts at 10:30am St Ives and 4:30pm St Columb. There are no rules or playing field except the winner must return a silver ball from the start point (usually the beach or Market Square) back to the Guildhall or town boundary within a hour and half.
