Rochester Sweeps is a three-day folk music event held annually on the first weekend in May. Includes a colourful parade of traditional English Morris dancing and folk music. The Sweeps is said to be the largest congregation of Morris dancers in Europe, providing a spectacular mix of music, dancing and entertainment with over 60 Morris troupes performing live.

The event includes a parade of Morris dancers along the town's main street culminating in a show at Rochester Castle Gardens, where there is usually a live music stage, a record fair, folk-art stalls, refreshment stalls, real ale and a traditional fun fair.

Location: Rochester, Kent
