A rare surviving Cistercian church that is still in use today. Founded by Cistercian monks in 1147 and dissolved by Henry VIII in 1537. The derelict eastern parts of the monastic church were restored by Viscount Scudamore around 1634, to serve his local parish. Services are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, plus regular concerts and organ recitals - see website for details.

A neo-classical country mansion built between 1778 and 1781 by Henry Holland. Contains several restored period rooms. The surrounding park and gardens were landscaped by Capability Brown in 1780. Currently run by the National Trust.

A magnificent restored Georgian gothic style castle surrounded by a beautifully landscaped deer park, with a lake and arboretum. The castle contains many fine tapestries, armour and works of art.
