The trail covers 40 miles (64 km) through many picturesque Herefordshire villages, providing lots of examples of 16th and 17th century timber-framed buildings and churches, each in their own spectacular village settings. The circular trail begins at Leominster and is marked with way markers and brown and white tourist signs. For directions simply pick up a trail leaflet at the tourist information centre at Leominster (1 Corn Square, Leominster, Tel. 01568 616460).
